ABOUT
T. Pope

Watch the official video for “I Rise” by Christian hip-hop artists Life Through Colors from Montgomery, Alabama.

Life Through Colors is a three-member American Gospel Hip-Hop group based out of Montgomery, Alabama. The inner-city swag and transparent rhyme of Larry “Rockette” Rockette, Terry “T Pope” Pope and James “DJ Jimbo the Jet” Chappell is a reflection of the urban street culture that infiltrated the Mississippi and Alabama streets where they were raised.

Rockette

Amid lives ridden with failed expectations, broken promises, deferred dreams and a seemingly endless thirst for something greater they happened upon a different kind of “Southern Comfort” – an experience with God!

Their journey of faith together is shaping their testimony, sound and destiny.

Jimbo The Jet

For these resilient young men, it’s not about having the perfect life but rather the right perspective around who controls your life. Today the rap trio is blazing a trail throughout the Southeast; using their collective gifts to inspire hope and change in the lives of young people.

Their songs express a confidence that could only come from finding inner peace and a knowing that they have been chosen for a purpose far greater than they can explain. They simply know that life is about perspective – see it black and white, or see it in color.

Life Through Colors is very active in the communities and give back by sharing their music and organizing various events and activities to uplift others. Check out their website for a full listing of past and upcoming events.
