Jesus constantly surprises and confounds people, from His miraculous birth to His rise from the grave. Follow His life through excerpts from the Book of Luke, all the miracles, the teachings, and the passion. This film is a great introduction to Jesus through the Book of Luke.

In the greater story of the world, God creates everything and loves mankind. But mankind disobeys God. God and mankind are separated. God loves mankind so much, He arranges redemption for mankind. He sends his Son Jesus to be a perfect sacrifice to make amends for us.

Jesus is the centerpiece in the larger story. Mankind’s redemption hinges on the suffering and rejection of the sinless offering of Jesus Christ. In witnessing His crucifixion and rise from the dead, we see God’s authority over death and justification for all sin.

Those who follow Jesus, confessing Him as Savior and leaving their old lives behind, are saved from God’s wrath against their sins. When judged, Jesus’s blood will cover them so that they are sinless in the eyes of God. This is demonstrated story after story when Jesus is able to declare, “Your sins have been forgiven.”

How is the sacrifice of Jesus part of God’s plan?

How do the different groups of people respond to Jesus and His teachings?

What are some of the miracles Jesus performed? How do they affect those people?

How do you respond to the life of Jesus?

Available in more than 1,100 languages (http://jesusfilmmedia.org), share it across the globe. The response of those hearing Jesus in their own language is overwhelming.

ADAM DUNSTAN Guitar

Not Sorry Anymore is a song of joy after defeat. Like it’s central guitar lick, it keeps moving, no matter what life throws at it. All stories start in a moment. And the story of this song starts with the sea. Resting on a surfboard beyond the breaks of a Californian coast, Adam Dunstan listened to a friend’s tragic story of personal triumph. Her words; “Adam, I just don’t want to be sorry anymore.” resonated with Adam like the waves on the beach.

Later in the studio, with that moment in mind, Adam was experimenting with a fresh lick. A producer took note and inquired of Adam. Questions lead to discussions, and discussion to action. What Adam felt to be just a lick wrought from the morning’s moment, was in fact a song; NOT SORRY ANYMORE.

ADAM DUNSTAN flower

Years later and nearly a continent away, a young man was walking thru Union Square in the rain. Instead of stopping to smell the roses, he noticed a single flower someone had placed in the hand of a Gandhi Statue. And in a moment, a whole story unfolded set to the music of his iPod. The young man, an upstart director, set pen to paper and new visual story was born. But a visual story needs a voice, and a director needs a star. As fate would have it Adam Dunstan moved to New York for a change of scenery, and the two met by chance at Paddy Reilly’s Music Bar in the heart of Manhattan. Within weeks production was underway.

Synopsis

A short documentary chronicling the rise of Japanese reggae star, pacifist, and gentle spirit Anna Ozawa and her quest to find illumination and enlightenment in NYC!

Director

This beautiful documentary was shot and edited by rising star Gabby Lee.

She is a native New Yorker, as well as an aspiring novelist and filmmaker, who holds a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MA in Journalism and Documentary Practice from the University of Sussex, UK.

Director’s Statement

ANNA OZAWA ILLUMINATOR was my first feature documentary, and by far my most challenging project. It was shot in 9 days during the sweltering summer of 2014, with limited resources and a shoestring budget. The film seeks to not only introduce the tremendous talent that is Anna Ozawa, but to explore her mindful approach to life and inspire the audience to stay hopeful in the face of adversary.
