Bridget Carringtton was hand picked by John Legend to sing with him on national television for 8 out of 9 episodes of the hit reality competition “DUETS” which aired on ABC. Now Bridget is going solo and getting the Legend’s feedback and support all the way.

Born and raised in Virginia, Bridget Carrington is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, actress and dancer with serious vocal ability and major stage presence. This soulful pop/r&b artist can flow from jazz to country, rock to pop. Her voice is like that of a chameleon adapting to almost any genre. Her unique tone is what sets Bridget apart from other female artists.

Bridget’s foundation is in Gospel music, she got an early start at the age of five singing in several church groups and choirs. Most of her high school career was spent singing the Star Spangled Banner for most of the basketball games & the school alma mater for the football games. After graduating, she attended Norfolk State University.

Some of Bridget’s performances included: The Dollhouse at the Highline Ballroom NYC, BET’s Music Matters, Joe’s Pub NYC, background vocals for Tim Reid’s tour of ‘For Real’. She also performed in The Original USA Gospel Singers European Tour based in Germany, an international revue-type gospel tour that performs 60+ shows in Europe yearly.

As an actress Bridget played a lead role in the stage play ‘He Loves Me, She Loves Me Not’ & ‘What God Joined Together’. Film credits include ‘The Sin Seer’ & ‘Mr. Right’, her television roles include ABC’s ‘Nashville’, Lifetime’s ‘Drop Dead Diva’ and BET’s ‘Being Mary Jane’.
