Raised in a small village in Kenya, Wãwí is the quintessence of the vibrancy that makes Africa unique in the world. Her work portrays that aspect of African culture that simply revels in life and treasures all things natural.
Wãwí is one of the co-founders of Activate Afrika, a social movement of conscious people working together, while utilizing individual skills and talents, as a collective to build and heal Africa. Her art is part of the African revolution gaining attention from people all over the world. Her creations are in stores in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Big Sur, San Francisco, France, and soon to come-Nairobi, Kenya!
