Nefetari Spencer Image 1

Nefetari Spencer’s is a talented actress, sketch artist, comedian, writer, director, producer and content creator. Her new music video “Still In Love” is a parody of Beyonce’s smash hit “Drunk In Love”. This hilarious comedic spoof stars Nefetari Spencer as a Michelle Obama/Beyonce hybrid recreating her own not-so-presidential version of the famous black and white music video, with lyrics reflecting a twisted version of the celebrity White House lifestyle.

The not-quite-so-first lady rolls around on the sand in her little tight black dress singing her “Chi Town” truth and proclaiming she’s “Still In Love”. Her hip hopped out, comedic alter-ego version husband in the video looks and sounds a lot like a President Barack Obama/Jayz hybrid and is played by actor Chase Anthony, with a full wanna-be Secret Service protective detail played by Erik Mitchell and Brian Handy. This is definately a Must-See!!!

Wayne With Guitar Headshot

Demo Delgado was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica, grew up in Maxfield Avenue, and later moved to Seaview Gardens. Delgado is a ‘singjay’ (a cross between a DJ and a singer). He was introduced into the DJ world by his father who was a DJ in Clarendon known as Wackle Stick. As a child his musical talent was nurtured in his small community, and the likes of Shabba Ranks, Bounty Killer, Wayne Smith, and Elephant Man all shared the same struggle growing up in the garrison.

At the early age of 15, Demo’s first single ”For No Reason” was released by Vertical Productions. He was baptized in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church at the age of 17. Performing his baptism was Archbishop of the Western Hemisphere and South Africa, Abuna Yesehaq – the same priest who baptized Bob Marley.

As he has grown as an artist and matured as a spiritual person, Delgado’s Rastafarian roots have re-emerged. Delgado states “My music now is about consciousness and I also want to teach youth about The Black Emperor, His Imperial Majesty Haile Salassie I”.

Delgado has several singles out for various producers. He has also teamed with some top singers, appearing with Wayne Wonder on Out, and Girl It’s Alright, Sanchez on I Was Told and Mr. Easy on Jack It Up. He also has Fool Har on the Scotch Bonnet rhythm and the Penthouse release Last Laugh.

Delgado first met Wayne Wonder in Kingston, Jamaica and they hit it off and later Delgado joined Wonder in New York. They collaborated on No Holding Back, the Atlantic Records album that launched Wonder as an international superstar. Demo & Wayne Wonder also co-wrote the songs “Enemies” and “Metal & Steel”. “Enemies” was a smash hit and was remixed for the album Strictly the Best, Vol. 31. Their song “Baby I Need You” was featured in the movie Something New starring Sanaa Lathan and Blair Underwood.

One of Demo Delgado’s newest works is the Rasta roots reggae single: “Live and Learn”, on the Run Cold Riddim by Irie Vibration. The colorful, upbeat “Live and Learn” music video was a collaboration of Marwan Records and JaZzyMaE Media, directed and edited by writer/filmmaker Laurie Lamson. Delgado and Lamson brought together an international cast who vibed perfectly together on- and off-camera.

The “Live and Learn” song plays on Irie-FM and the video is in rotation on Hype-TV (Jamaica), Soweto TV (South Africa), Tropik TV (Carribean, Eastern Seaboard) and now Tempo TV Networks (Caribbean, NY Tristate, parts of Europe and Canada).
